Do you have an innate quality to always be doing for others?
Does that capacity extend to you?
Many of us find that even from a young age, our sense of responsibility to others is very strong. Whether it involves looking out for younger siblings, studying hard to meet parental career expectations, or being ‘the good child’.
Unfortunately, doing for others may have become the ‘you’ that every one else expects, but that does not necessarily mean that we are meeting our own needs, or being who we really are meant to be.
Perhaps it is time for some flexibility, a little self-love, a portion of self-nourishment; rather than withholding and depriving yourself of the gifts you so freely distribute to all but you?
How can you best serve you?
What is it that you need today?
